Move Better, Feel Better, Live Better

Nutritious Movementfounded by biomechanist Katy Bowman, is a unique approach to movement, emphasizing Whole-Body Integration. The program advocates: regeneration of the body's various systems, improving underdeveloped muscles and daring lifestyle alterations. Our body, in it's present state, is a story that has been formed over years of habitual postural adaptation and preferred ways of living. We all have an instinctive yearning for optimal health, and to have the ability to move easily throughout our daily activities. Our present day reality however, is that many of us lead busy, sedentary lives infused with small doses of physical activity. This pattern of being is directing us to immobility, lethargy and imbalance. 

Natural Movement

Nutritious Movement is designed to address limitations that have been created from our routines by applying natural movement modalities back into our everyday lives. Using our body as a vehicle of motion and finesse, plus changing behaviours will restore essential health and liveliness. A series of sequential corrective exercises are taught to enhance function, alignment and Whole Body balance. In addition, revolutionary lifestyle transformations such as: barefoot education, learning to squat and hang with ease, sitting on the floor, improving balance, amending our walking gait, standing in alignment, and spending time in nature. These significant changes will heighten the development of a complete, embodied life. Our body is an example of a classic mobile device - we can take it anywhere, at anytime - and learn to regard it's full potential of natural Whole Body health as a fundamental aspect of human life.
