Moving Mindfully is a blend of Yoga, Pilates, Nutritious Movement, and Meditation. Each of these methods varies slightly in their presentation of movement, breath, and awareness. However, their message is the same:

Move the Body. Heal the Body.
Relax the Body. Still the Mind.

MOVEMENT “All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.”  ― Martha Graham

Living Embodied Mindfulness

Learning to attend to our lives with interest and passion, is a commitment to optimal health we can bring into our daily life activities. In the midst of our routines, there is an opportunity to become more attentive, within our bodies and within our mind.

Do we have the willingness to connect?

Each one of us can refine our movement patterns and postural habits. Rebalancing and conditioning the body requires constant inquiry. Feeling what movement is, how it functions, and where it originates. Understanding why there is discomfort, and how it was created, gives access to a higher quality of life and responsibility to healing. We become invested to living here in the body, one that is healthy and movement oriented.

Mindfulness, settling back to observe what is happening. We can’t control life, but we can live more aware of what is interfering with freedom and ease. By taking time to pause and notice our mental processes, we can change our perception towards the world within and around us.

Embodied Mindfulness—Living in the Body, Present in the Mind.

As long as we are alive, the possibility of creating healthy lives, infused with energy, contentment and joy is also alive.

The choice is ours.
